Proverbs 19:27-29

²⁷ Cease listening, my son, to discipline,
And you will stray from the words of knowledge.
²⁸ A rascally witness makes a mockery of justice,
And the mouth of the wicked ^[a](A)spreads iniquity.
^29 [b]Judgments are prepared for ^(B)scoffers,
And ^(C)blows for the back of fools.
